Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of ml.guide, its subdomains (including learn.ml.guide) and the guides, lessons, demos and other content on them (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Arbol Micro LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("Arbol Micro", "we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Copyright and ownership

The Site and its content, including text, lessons, explanations, interactive demos and simulations, source code, graphics, design and the selection and arrangement of material, are owned by Arbol Micro LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. © 2026 Arbol Micro LLC. All rights reserved.

Some components are open-source software or fonts used under their own licenses, for example MathJax (Apache License 2.0) and typefaces from Google Fonts (SIL Open Font License). Those licenses govern those components.

3. Your license to use the Site

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Teachers and study groups may link to the Site and show it during instruction.

Unless we agree in writing, you may not:

• copy, republish, sell, rent or redistribute the Site or substantial parts of its content, or create derivative products or courses from it;
• frame or mirror the Site, or present its content as your own;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site, including to train machine learning models, except for ordinary search engine indexing;
• interfere with the Site's operation or security, or try to access areas that are not meant to be public; or
• use the Site in a way that breaks any law.

4. Educational content only

The Site is for general education. Demos are simplified simulations, and numbers, examples and explanations may contain errors or become out of date. The Site is not professional, academic, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for your own instructors or course materials. Check anything important against primary sources before relying on it.

The Site is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any school, university, course or course provider. Names of products, models and companies (for example GPT, ResNet or Stable Diffusion) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe and teach.

5. Links, third-party services and affiliate relationships

The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as GPU rental or cloud computing providers, books and courses. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Some links on the Site may be affiliate or referral links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission or credit at no extra cost to you. We will label affiliate links where they appear.

6. Feedback

If you send us ideas, corrections or other feedback, you agree we may use it without restriction or payment to you.

7. Changes and availability

The Site is a work in progress. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time, and we may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARBOL MICRO LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arbol Micro LLC from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.

12. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
